Staff - From the get go staff were very very friendly and welcoming, spoke different languages so can accomadate those who speak French, English or Arabic. Welcome mint tea and biscuits on arrival we're provided. Check in was easy and seamless. Bell boys (or men should i say) were so kind to bring luggage up and back down at the end of our stay as there is no lift. Cleaning ladies were so kind and lovely to see in the morning/midday to say hello and we're helpful in providing anything we needed such as fresh towels or toilet roll. Restaurant staff again lovely and kind. My mother wasn't feeling too well and one member of staff in particular was very caring and attentive and asking my mother every morning how she was feeling and if there was anything in particular she wanted to help make her feel better. The ginger tea he made for her nausea was so caring and appreciated. Staff in general are friendly and it's great to see this and have genuine and meaningful interactions with them. Location - the hotel is right in the heart of the medina and also close enough to the beach/marina within walking distance. Really is a great location. Come out the hotel take a left and go down to the beach/marina front etc. Take a right and go the medina/grand Socco etc. Food - I can only comment on the breakfast but the traditional Morocco breakfast in the morning was lovely and enjoyable. They were generous with portion sizes and it will fill you up ready for the day ahead exploring Tangier. Room - The room itself was a decent size. There is AC to keep you cool and also a sliding window should you wish for fresh air. As the hotel is next to the mosque it was beautiful to hear the sound of the adhaan at prayer time. The room itself is clean and tidy. There is a TV and a hairdryer. The bathroom (albeit small) was clean and there was running hot water and a bidet which I love to see! There was welcome fruit and water in the room which a lovely touch...

The large glass windows in my suite and in the dining room area on the third floor provided a spectacular view of the harbor, cruise terminal, and medina walls. This compensated for the lack of an elevator. Karim of the dining room area was awesome. No fail, he was always very attentive during breakfast. He went out of his way to lend me one of the dining tables so I could use it as a desk for my computer. My room did not have a desk or writing table. I could tell that he loves his job and takes it seriously. Tarik from Front Desk also deserves a shout out because he continuously gave me tips and assistance. The Hotel was a short walk to Petite Socco, a pedestrian street where all the shops are located including Grand Central Café. There is a traditional Moroccan restaurant, Ahlen, right in front of the hotel and a convenience store on the side. It was strongly suggested that I do not drink tap water. It was so convenient that the hotel provided bottled water each day. Wifi was 5G, strong and stable.

Great location in the old medina (unless you struggle with climbing a few steps). The main thing I loved was the friendliness of the staff. Ismail on reception was amazing helping me with a few requests. The breakfast was delicious with great views and I also had cous cous with chicken one evening in the restaurant and it was extremely good. The hotel was clean and I got a great nights sleep both nights. Great location for exploring and for your pick ups. If I come back here I’ll definitely stay here. I even got a lovely drink and snack on arrival, and included in my room was a bottle of water and some fresh fruit. This hotel completely exceeded my expectations.

Super clean and exactly like the pictures, the room was spacious and well equipped. Located a short walk from the port. FRS, the ferry company, cancelled our Tarifa - Tangiers return ticket the night before so, in a panic, we asked the hotel to help with a phone call to FRS. They helped with the call (Spanish) and also organising a taxi for the next day to shuttle us to Tangier med when FRS refused to organise any transport. We got a taxi in the morning and even taken down to it on the road. The restaurant also works in Ramadan for tourists.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—right in the middle of Madina, which made exploring the city very convenient. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We had booked the airport shuttle, and even though our flight was delayed, they patiently waited for us, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was nice and satisfying, though the menu didn’t change much from day to day. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and is quite affordable.
